Agri-Food Immigration Pilot Program

The Agri-Food Pilot Program was established by the IRCC to fulfill the labor demands of the Agri-Food sector in Canada and to provide a path to permanent residence for employees in this industry. As a result, if you work in agriculture, this route may be the best option for you to come to Canada. The Agri-Food Pilot Program is set to expire in May 2023, although IRCC may decide to prolong it.

Requirements include:

Canadian high school or post-secondary educational credential, or an equivalent international credential validated by the ECA within the past 5 years.
Have a work offer from a Canadian employer in a qualified industry and vocation (non-seasonal).
Within the past three years, at least one year of paid, full-time work experience as a temporary foreign worker in a qualifying sector and vocation in Canada.
If you are not currently working in Canada with a valid work visa, you should have a settlement fund.
